Every Woman Pregnancy Check
We want you to feel strong throughout your pregnancy so that you can look after your baby, return to doing the things you love as safely and confidently as possible, and feel good!
Your body undergoes many changes during pregnancy, and it is not uncommon to experience pain and discomfort in the pelvic area.
- During pregnancy, postural changes, muscle imbalances, and altered alignment occur that can lead to issues such as pelvic girdle pain, hip pain, swelling in the legs and pelvic area, lower or mid back pain, tingling and numbness in your hands and fingers, and leaking.
- The great news is that a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist can help alleviate and even treat these symptoms. We utilise a combination of pelvic physiotherapy treatment, education, biofeedback, lifestyle changes, muscle training, specialised interventions and specific exercises.
- It is also important to address any issues that arise during pregnancy to prevent leaking, back pain, pelvic pain, heaviness or dragging, prolapse, incontinence and abdominal separation later in life.
During your consultations, we will always take the time to make sure you understand your prenatal presentation. We’ll help you feel reassured about the future.

We have designed an optimum pregnancy care pathway, which includes two milestone pelvic health assessments.
The Initial Check (from 12-weeks)
What to expect:
- discussion regarding your concerns
- review of your short & medium-term goals
- medical history review
