Shockwave therapy £145

Each appointment combines shockwave therapy with hands-on physiotherapy treatment in a 30-minute session. The shockwave component takes 10-15 minutes, with the remainder dedicated to complementary manual therapy. Most patients require at least 4 sessions for lasting results.
Insurance patients: Please obtain a separate approval code for shockwave therapy from your provider.

BUPA UK and BUPA International
We have a direct billing relationship with BUPA, so we’ll invoice them on your behalf.
Before your first appointment:
- Obtain BUPA authorization for physiotherapy or osteopathy treatment
- Ensure the authorization code is specific to Beyond Health (provider no. 80010329)
- Confirm the number of sessions authorized
- Complete required questionnaires (You will be required to do this before your initial appointment and throughout your treatment journey with us.)
Your responsibility
As the policyholder, you’re responsible for understanding your policy coverage. If BUPA declines payment for any reason (excess reached, treatment limits, etc.), you must pay the outstanding balance within 7 days or before your next appointment, whichever is sooner.
AXA
We have a direct billing relationship with AXA, so we’ll invoice them on your behalf.
Before your first appointment:
- Obtain AXA authorization for physiotherapy treatment
- Ensure the authorization code is specific to Beyond Health (provider no. ZZ05086 or ZZ05089)
- Confirm the number of sessions authorized
- Complete required questionnaires (You will be required to do this before your initial appointment and throughout your treatment journey with us — completion is mandatory to continue care)
- Your responsibility: As the policyholder, you’re responsible for understanding your policy coverage. If AXA declines payment for any reason (excess reached, treatment limits, etc.), you must pay the outstanding balance within 7 days or before your next appointment, whichever is sooner.
CIGNA International
We’re a recognized provider but do not bill CIGNA directly. You’ll pay privately at the time of your appointment and claim reimbursement directly from CIGNA. In our experience, CIGNA processes reimbursements quickly when you’ve obtained pre-approval before treatment.
AVIVA
Due to AVIVA’s reduced reimbursement rates, we no longer accept AVIVA-funded appointments. Their current rates don’t reflect the level of expertise and care we provide at Beyond Health. We encourage you to speak with AVIVA about alternative options or continue your treatment with us on a self-funded basis.
Vitality, WPA, Allianz, or other insurance providers not listed above
We don’t have direct billing relationships with these insurers, but we’re happy to support your claim.
