Specialist ski preparation, strength & conditioning and rehabilitation

At Beyond Health, skiBeyond™ helps skiers get their body ready for the slopes. We combine a ski-specific biomechanical screen with targeted strength and conditioning to help you ski with more control, reduce injury risk and make the most of every day on the mountain.

Skiing places unique demands on your legs, hips and core, often after months away from the slopes. Whether you’re preparing for your first ski trip or your next season, we look at how your body moves and build a programme that gets you ready for the conditions ahead.

With clinics in Parsons Green (Fulham) and Queen’s Park, we support skiers of all levels, from beginners and holiday skiers to experienced off-piste and competitive skiers, as well as those returning to the slopes after injury.

skiBeyond™ is a specialist ski preparation service designed to improve strength, control and resilience before you hit the slopes.

At Beyond Health, the service combines:

  • Ski-specific biomechanical screen
  • Movement and mobility analysis
  • Ski-specific strength & conditioning
  • Balance and stability training
  • Pre-season preparation programmes
  • Physiotherapy-led rehabilitation
  • Injury prevention strategies

Every programme is tailored to the skier, their history and their goals for the season.

What's included?

We start by looking at how your body moves in positions that matter for skiing. We identify what may be limiting your control or increasing your injury risk, and use the findings to shape your programme.

We assess:

  • Lower-limb strength and control
  • Hip, knee and ankle mobility
  • Balance and single-leg stability
  • Core strength and trunk control
  • Landing and deceleration mechanics
  • Left-to-right differences
Using your screen results, we build a programme that targets the muscles and movement patterns you rely on most on the slopes, including your quads, glutes, hamstrings and core. The aim is to build the strength, endurance and control to stay strong from the first run to the last.
Knee injuries are among the most common in skiing, so your programme includes targeted strength, balance and control work to help reduce your risk. It also builds your confidence on varied terrain and changing snow conditions.
Your programme is timed to your departure date. For the best results, we recommend starting at least 6 to 8 weeks before you go, so your body has time to build strength and adapt. If your trip is sooner, we’ll create a focused programme to get you as ready as possible.
If you’re coming back from a knee, ankle or other injury, we’ll guide you through a structured rehabilitation programme. We rebuild your strength and confidence step by step, so you return to the slopes when you’re ready.
