Jake Powley

Physiotherapist

Born in Britain, Jake spent most of his life in Australia, and in early 2025 has returned to the UK. He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra in 2020 and has since specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy within private practice.

A strong advocate for a holistic, client-centered approach, Jake is passionate about helping individuals achieve their health goals. He combines education, hands-on techniques, and tailored exercise programs to deliver effective, evidence-based treatment while reducing the risk of future injuries.

In addition to his physiotherapy qualifications, Jake is trained in dry needling and has pursued further study in upper limb conditions. His clinical expertise spans both acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues, with a particular focus on low back and neck pain, knee injuries, and upper limb rehabilitation.

A former competitive rugby union player through the Brumbies pathway, Jake also represented the Canberra Raiders in touch football. His personal experience with injury recovery ignited his passion for rehabilitation and informs his patient-centered approach.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys running, weight training, golfing, and exploring new destinations.
