Born and raised in the Philippines, Maria spent much of her life enjoying the tropical outdoors. Her love for travel and culture led her to spend the last decade living and working abroad in clinical, educational, and administrative roles. She moved to London in 2024 after completing her masters at the University of Edinburgh.

Alongside her role at Beyond Health, Maria is a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist working in private practice and within the women’s sector. She is passionate about supporting individuals with their overall mental health & wellbeing, integrating psychodynamic, trauma-informed and mindfulness-based principles in her practice.
