Matt holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with Distinction from Brunel University, following a degree in Sport Science from Durham University. He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on back pain, neck pain and sports injuries.
With a background in first-class cricket and semi-professional hockey, Matt has a strong passion for sports physiotherapy and helping people return to the activities they love. He is qualified in dry needling and GUNN IMS (intramuscular stimulation) dry needling and has provided pitch-side physiotherapy for rugby, hockey and cricket.
Matt has gained extensive experience across both private practice and the NHS, progressing to become a lead physiotherapist before taking on his current role as Clinical Manager at Beyond Health. His approach combines hands-on treatment with targeted exercise and rehabilitation, helping patients recover effectively and reduce the risk of recurring injuries.
Whether you’re experiencing pain, recovering from an injury or looking to get back to sport, Matt takes a personalised, goal-focused approach to help you move better and get back to doing what you enjoy.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys running around South West London, playing hockey and cricket, and supporting his favourite sports teams.
